Mostly Peaceful
A dark comedy about the end of the road — and all the potholes we politely swerved until the wheels came off.
You’ll laugh… then you’ll worry that you did.

Series Overview
6 × 1hr Episodes
Britain is falling apart — not with riots or revolutions, but through polite shrugs, automated switchboards, and rainbow-flagged paperwork. In Mostly Peaceful, we follow Dave and Rashid, childhood friends from opposite ends of Britain’s cultural spectrum, as their lives are torn apart by the slow-motion implosion of a once-great nation.
One clings to fading decency; the other is pulled into forces he cannot control. Set against a backdrop of rising extremism, collapsing institutions, and well-intentioned but useless bureaucracy, Mostly Peaceful is a surreal, darkly comic animated drama. It captures the absurdity, the tragedy, and the strange humour found in a society more concerned with appearances than survival.

Why Now?
We live in the age of contradiction: where free speech is sacred and censored, where tolerance is enforced, where truth is whatever the policy says.
And right now, the Overton window has cracked open just wide enough for a series like this to slip through.
It’s uncanny how primed the conversation is — the questions no one was allowed to ask ten years ago are being whispered, shouted, and wrestled with today.
Mostly Peaceful doesn’t offer easy answers. It offers honesty — messy, uncomfortable, funny honesty. It invites the audience to wrestle with the questions it raises, not to be spoon-fed a conclusion.
It’s not just timely. It’s exactly what this moment demands — a cultural contribution for a world trying to make sense of itself.
